Our Activities
High precision measurement systems
At KWAN-TEK, we design and commercialize high precision measurement systems powered by quantum sensor technology

Our mission
Delivering quantum precision to industries
Our mission is to ensure the integrity of critical systems through quantum measurements deployed in industrial environments
Our conviction
We are convinced that quantum sensing will become mainstream in industrial applications that require precision measurements of physical parameters.
Our diamond quantum sensor technology uniquely combines accuracy, robustness and ease of integration to deliver quantum precision to critical industrial systems.

When KWAN-TEK came to life
KWAN-TEK was founded in October 2023 by Remi Geiger and the Breton investment companies Breizh Rebond and Société Financière Lorient Developpement (SFLD), with the vision that quantum sensor-based metrology solutions will meet crucial challenges in various sectors of industry and Research.
Since its creation, the company has raised €3.8 million in equity capital to kick-start its development.
KWAN-TEK was founded on the basis of a buyout of the assets of WAINVAM-E company founded in April 2020, enabling the company to start up with an experienced and structured team, and to sit on a solid base of €8m investments in R&D and intellectual property.
History
Scientific Advisory Board
is an Associate Professor at RMIT University, renowned as a quantum sensing pioneer—especially for his development of advanced techniques using diamond NV centers.
With a strong track record and leadership of both discovery-driven and industry-targeted project, he is deeply committed to translating quantum breakthroughs into real-world industrial applications.
is an Associate Professor at INSA Lyon’s Laboratory of Electrical Engineering and Ferroelectricity in France, where he pioneers electromagnetic nondestructive testing methods.
With a strong record of research advancing both theoretical models and industrially relevant sensor designs he has made significant strides in translating electromagnetic NDT from lab innovation toward practical applications
Responsabilité Sociétale des Entreprises (RSE)
At KWAN-TEK, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is not an abstract concept: it is a living approach, supported by all our teams and integrated into every level of our operations.
Participatory and transparent governance
Every week, our management committee meets with representatives from all departments. This structure enables collective decision-making, better coordination, and, above all, active listening to the realities on the ground. It is this open governance that allows us to move forward together, with consistency and agility.
Supporting families is also our mission
Because we know that work-life balance is essential, we have implemented concrete measures:
- A reserved place in a daycare center for our employees’ children
- Three days of paid leave per year for sick children.
These commitments reflect our desire to take care of those who make the company thrive.
A shared voice, a common vision
Once a month, we hold a company meeting open to all employees. The goal? To share news, successes, learnings, ongoing projects… and above all, to create a space for discussion where everyone can express themselves. This transparency fosters trust and strengthens the sense of belonging.
Strong local roots
While our markets are global, we believe in the power of networks and the value of local partnerships. That’s why we work with mostly local suppliers to make our products and are actively involved in several professional and community networks in the area. We also support local reuse initiatives.
Localisation attractive
At KWAN-TEK, our name embodies our dual identity: “KWANTEK,” a Breton word meaning “quantum,” reflects both our local roots and our international scientific ambition.
Headquartered in South Brittany, our company operates in an exceptional setting, between the sea and unspoiled nature, in the heart of a region rich in Celtic culture and maritime history.
A dynamic and growing region
Lorient, the largest city in Morbihan with more than 58,000 inhabitants, is part of a constantly expanding metropolitan area of 210,000 people. This region attracts talent thanks to its balance between quality of life and professional opportunities. The consulting and engineering sector has grown by more than 23% in seven years, and Lorient Technopole has supported more than 120 innovative projects, making the region one of the most active technology hubs in Brittany.

Accessibility and connectivity
Lorient is connected to Paris in 3 hours by high-speed train and benefits from its strategic proximity to Rennes, Vannes, and Quimper. Its urban and inter-municipal transport network facilitates daily travel, enhancing the region’s appeal.
Strong local roots
KWAN-TEK is fully integrated into the regional ecosystem through economic and community partnerships, an active presence in professional networks, and regular participation in local events. This involvement strengthens our legitimacy and our impact in the region.
A living environment conducive to personal fulfillment
Working at KWAN-TEK means enjoying a stimulating natural environment, affordable housing, a high-quality education system, and a friendly atmosphere, far from the stress of big cities. It’s the ideal work-life balance.
