To support this ambition, we are looking for an NDT Field Application Engineer.

Working at the forefront of customer engagement and technology deployment, you will play a key role in bringing our innovations into real-world industrial environments and supporting the adoption of quantum sensing technologies.

Your Mission

You will serve as one of the primary technical interfaces between KWAN TEK and its customers.

Your mission will be to support the deployment of our solutions in the field, understand customer challenges, and bring valuable market feedback back to our Product, R&D, and Engineering teams.

Operating at the intersection of advanced technology and industrial applications, you will contribute directly to validating system performance and ensuring successful adoption by NDT professionals worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Technical Support

• Support customers in evaluating and implementing Kwan-tek solutions
• Conduct technical demonstrations and application-focused presentations
• Provide technical support during testing, validation, and evaluation phases
• Assist customers in troubleshooting and optimizing system performance

Field Deployment

• Plan and execute on-site customer visits and technical interventions
• Participate in inspection campaigns and field measurements
• Train customers and end-users on system operation and best practices
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and operating procedures

Application Development

• Identify new industrial use cases and application opportunities
• Evaluate solution performance across various operational environments
• Contribute to the development of inspection methodologies
• Support validation of new features and next-generation products

Voice of the Customer

• Gather and analyze customer feedback
• Identify emerging market needs and industry trends
• Communicate customer requirements to Product and R&D teams
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and solutions

Commercial Support

• Support strategic business opportunities alongside the Sales team
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events
• Contribute to technical marketing content and application notes
• Help develop technical sales tools and value propositions

Your Profile

Education
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related scientific field
• Additional specialization in measurement systems, sensors, or industrial technologies is a plus

Experience

• 3 to 10 years of experience in an industrial or technology-driven environment
• Experience in field applications engineering, technical support, commissioning, testing, or customer-facing technical roles
• Experience with measurement systems, instrumentation, sensors, or industrial equipment
• Experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), industrial instrumentation, photonics, advanced sensing technologies, or inspection systems would be a strong advantage

• Compensation based on experience – Starting at €45,000 gross annual salary
• 215-day annual working time scheme
