To support this ambition, we are looking for a Head of Product NDT.
As a member of the leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction.
Your Mission
You will be the voice of the market and the customer within the company.
Your mission will be to define and drive the product strategy that transforms our innovations into high-value solutions for the non-destructive testing (NDT) industry.
Working at the interface between customers, application engineering, R&D, engineering, and sales teams, you will lead the decisions that ensure the commercial success of our future product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy
• Define the product vision in alignment with the company’s strategy
• Identify and prioritize target markets
• Build business cases for new product offerings
• Define product positioning and value propositions
Product Portfolio Management
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap
• Manage the full product lifecycle
• Prioritize developments based on customer needs and strategic objectives
• Contribute to product investment decisions
Market Intelligence
• Gather and analyze the Voice of the Customer (VoC)
• Conduct ongoing competitive and technology monitoring
• Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and events
• Identify new opportunities and market evolutions in the NDT sector
Leadership & Cross-Functional Management
• Lead and develop the Field Application Engineering team
• Structure collaboration between Product, Applications, R&D, and Sales teams
• Contribute to strategic decision-making as a member of the Executive Committee
Go-to-Market
• Prepare and coordinate new product launches
• Define sales enablement tools and technical messaging
• Support strategic business opportunities alongside commercial teams
Your Profile
Education
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related scientific discipline
• Additional training in Product Marketing or Business Strategy is a plus
Experience
• 8 to 15 years of experience in an industrial environment
• Significant experience in Product Management, Technical Business Development, or Application Engineering
• Experience with complex products combining hardware, software, and measurement systems
• Experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), industrial instrumentation, photonics, advanced sensing technologies, or inspection systems would be a strong advantage
Skills
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of industrial markets
• Experience managing product portfolios
• Ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business objectives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English is essential
